I've been sleeping very heavily and dreaming extensively these past few weeks. Typically, I remember them very vividly, but not so these last few times. They usually slip away from my memory almost immediately after I wake before I can so much as reach for pen and paper.

Still, I always awaken with the impression of having been away somewhere all night, and that the somewhere I was, was very intensely experienced.... if that makes any sense at all.

This morning, I managed to hold onto two particular fragments. In one, I discovered a little black and white kitten in the Wal-Mart personnel office. I immediately decided to take her home. The lady working in the office suggested that I name her "Resumé" because she first appeared in an office. *laugh* My mother interpreted it as my upcoming change of profession. A new beginning (kitten) in the form of new work (resumé). XD XD I suppose that's one way to look at it. I just might be crazy enough to name a future cat Resumé in reference to that dream.

The second dream fragment played almost like a scene in a film where I felt like an observer that no one acknowledged. It took place inside this dimly lit, massive indoor area with an enormous, swimming pool with a green glow eminating from it. The pool was alarmingly deep; at least 200 feet by my guess in the dream. There were two large bull sharks swimming ominously in its depths. Sharks have always been a very scary presence in my dreams, just like tornadoes, though I've never experienced the either firsthand (I've SEEN sharks in aquariums, but It's not the same thing as swimming with them in the open ocean!) A man and a woman I do not know were there in the room. The woman was in the pool searching frantically for something she had lost underwater while the man was calling frantically for her to get out of the water, but not moving to go and get her himself.
The entire scene was very tense and somehow foreboding. Hm.
