In the night's dream delights...

I was obsessed with 'NiGHTS into Dreams' on the Sega Saturn 11 years ago when it was first released. I've always retained a huge love for it. Now, Sega has provided me with this:

It's been out since last Christmas, but this is the first time I've actually seen images from it. :D I'm so excited! In this game Nights actually speaks. They gave it a British female voice to further the idea of its androgyny, probably to give it the impresson of a lady infused with a young boy; though personally, I think that the voice is a bit TOO feminine. Rather than androgynous, it's downright girly. While it's grown on me the more I've listened to it, I still wish they had found a more ambiguous voice.

At any rate.... WEEEE!!! More Nights for me! If I can ever manage to afford a Wii, I can play!

Fan art from this series has caught my eye, particularly the character although I don't know much about it. I enjoyed this video and looking up a few others.

I think the voice is meant to be Peter Pan like, is there a Japanese voice, they're usually more effective.

I've never known a single person who has loved the games. I was convinced they made it just for me! ^_^ All that lovely fan art has proven me wrong.

You know, I never thought of it that way! You're right. It does give the impression of one of those ladies giving the Peter Pan performance on stage. :) I'm sure there's a Japanese version, but I've never thought to look up the Japanese cutscenes. *goes to do it*
